Char Dham Yatra 2009 
Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (205 Kms.) 6 - 7 hrs. drive
On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station meet our representative, “welcome” than drive to Haridwar, on arrival at Haridwar Check In at the hotel, evening we will take you Har Ki Peri to witness the famous Aarti of holy Ganges. than back to hotel for overnight stay.

Haridwar:-
The holy city of Haridwar is home to some of the most sacred Hindu rituals. Round the year, devotees from all over the country flock here in their thousands to perform "Poojas" or prayers. Renowned for the "Maha Kumbh Mela" which appears Every 12 years and the enchanting "Aarti" at "Har Ki Pari" which captives the beholder with hundreds of burning wick lamps floating down the Ganges this town has been distinguished for centuries in the Indian society. 
Day 02: Haridwar - Barkot (230 Kms.) 7 - 8 hrs. drive
Morning after breakfast drive to Barkot via Rishikesh, Dehradun, The Queen of hills Mussoorie, on arrival at the Barkot check in at the hotel and overnight stay.

Barkot:-
Barkot is the famous Village of Uttarkashi District, Lord Shiva Temple is famous in Barkot, Barkot Village is situated on the bank of river Yamunotri.

Day 03: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (32 Kms drive, 10 Kms. Taxi, 05 Kms Trek) 
Early Morning 32 Kms. drive to Hanuman Chatti, than take the local Taxi for Janki Chatti, Janki Chatti is 10 kms. far from Hanuman Chatti, on arrival at Janki Chatti 05 kms. Trek for Yamunotri. On arrival at Yamunotri, take a holy dip in Kund, Holy Darsan of Temple Suraj Kund and Pooja of Yamunotri Devi. then go down trek for Janki chatti. Take taxi for Hanuman Chatti on arrival at Barkot Check In at the hotel for overnight stay.

Yamunotri:-
Yamunotri Temple lies in the western region of Garhwal Himalayas. It is situated at a height of 3235 m. Goddess Yamuna, the river goddess is worshipped here and has special significance in Hindu scriptures. The idol is made of black marble. The river Yamuna emerges from Yamunotri glacier which is at a height of 4420 m near the Kalind mountain. This was the home of Sage Asit. The temple was constructed by Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal. A hot sulphur spring pond is situated at Yamunotri close to the temple.Nearby Places of interest include Surya Kund, Divya Shila, Sayanachatti, Janakichatti and Hanuman Chatti. 

Day 04: Barkot - Uttarkashi (85 Kms. drive 05 hrs.)
Morning after breakfast drive to Uttarkashi, to day we are in the hill of Garhwal, enroot see the beautiful tree of Pines, oak tree etc. enroot visit Prakteshwar Mahadev, this is a cave dedicated for lord Shiva. on arrival at Uttarkashi check in at the hotel evening visit Vishwnath Temple. overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 Kms.)
Early Morning drive to Gangotri on arrival at Gangnali take a holy dip in Hot kund than drive to Gangotri, on arrival at Gangotri holy Darsan of Gangotri Devi, than come back to Uttarkashi. on arrival at Uttarkashi check in at the hotel and overnight stay.

Gangotri:-
The shrine of Gangotri is situated at an elevation of 3200 m surrounded by deodars and pines. The original temple was constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa. Every year people from all around the world visit this shrine. A number of ashrams and dharamshalas are located on the other side of the river. It is believed that Raja Bhagirath used to worship Shiva on a slab of rock "Bhagirath Shila" situated near the temple. Submerged in the river there is a natural Shivling where, according to mythology, Lord Shiva sat when he received the Goddess Ganga in his matted locks. A days trek takes one to Gaumukh, the source of the mighty Ganges. 

Day 06: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (205 Kms. 9 - 10 Hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast, drive towards Guptkashi via New Tehri, on arrival at Tehri see the Beautiful Lake of Tehri Dam from Lake view Point. then drive to Guptkashi via Ghansali, Chrbatiya, Tilwara, on arrival at Guptkashi check in at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 07: Guptkashi - Gorikund - Kedarnath ( 32 Kms drive, 14 Kms Trek) 4 - 5 Hrs.
Morning after breakfast, 01 hrs. drive to Gorikund on arrival at Gorikund take a holy dip in Gorikund than 14 kms. trek to Kedarnath. on arrival at Kedarnath check in at the hotel, visit the adi Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the Temple, evening Pooja in Kedarnath Temple. overnight stay at hotel.

Kedarnath:- 
The temple of Kedarnath dedicated to Lord Shiva is revered and visited by many pilgrims every year. The temple is situated at an altitude of 3580 m amidst the background of snow covered mountain peaks and greenery. The temple is built of large, heavy and evenly cut grey slabs of stones and is considered more than 1000 years old. The temple has a garbha griha where a conical rock formation is situated and a Mandapam for seating of pilgrims and visitors. A large statue of the Nandi Bull is situated outside the temple door. 

Day 08: Kedarnath - Gorikund - Pipalkoti (14 Kms trek, 180 Kms. drive)
Morning after holy Darsan, come back to Gorikund, on arrival at Gorikund drive to Pipalkoti, via Ukhimath, Chopta (Switzarland of Garhwal) Mandal, Gopeshwar, Chamoli, on arrival at Pipalkoti check in at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 09: Pipalkoti - Badrinath (73 Kms. drive)
Morning after breakfast drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, on arrival at Badrinath check in at the hotel evening take a holy din in Tapt Kund Pooja in Sri Badrinath Temple. overnight stay at hotel.

Badrinath:-
Badrinath Temple is the abode of Lord Vishnu. It is situated at an altitude of 3130 m at the banks of Alaknanda. In the backdrop, is the Neelkanth mountain peak situated between the twin peaks of Nar and Narayan. The name is derived from wild berries called Badri. Adi Shankarcharya established the idol of Vishnu in the temple. Near the temple is a hot water sulphur spring, Tapt Kund. 

Day 10: Badrinath - Rudraprayag (155 Kms. drive)
Early Morning Pooja in Sri Badrinath Temple, check out from the hotel than drive to Rudrapryag, via Govindghat, Joshimath, Pipalkoti, Chamoli, Karanpryag, Gaucher, on arrival at Rudraprayag check in at the hotel. evening visit the confluance of Mandakini and Alaknada, Koteshwar Mahadev, overnight stay at the hotel. 

Day 11: Rudrapryag - Rishikesh (133 Kms. drive)
Morning after breakfast drive towards Rishikesh, enroot visit Dhari Devi Temple, after the holy darsan of Temple drive to Rishikesh, via Srinagar Garhwal, Devprayag (the confluance of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda, Parsuram Tempal). than drive to Rishikesh, on arrival at Rishikesh check in at the hotel evening visit Ram Jhula, overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 12: Rishikesh - Delhi (230 Kms.)
Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi Check in at the hotel overnight stay at the hotel.

Dey 13: Departure
Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport or railway station time to catch the flight or train to onward destination.
